This Privacy Policy describes how TruckSettle ("TruckSettle", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, stores, and discloses information when you use the TruckSettle mobile application and related services (collectively, the "Service"). TruckSettle is a weekly settlement and trip-log tool used by trucking owner-operators, drivers, and small fleet operators to record trips, calculate driver pay, and generate settlement PDFs.

3. SMS / MMS Messaging

SMS / MMS delivery is optional. SMS report delivery is off by default and is not required to use TruckSettle. You must (a) enable the SMS / MMS channel in Report Delivery Settings, (b) enter a recipient phone number, and (c) check the on-screen consent checkbox confirming the recipient has agreed to receive automated SMS / MMS settlement reports from TruckSettle.

Message frequency varies and typically depends on how often you generate or close settlements (typically 1–4 messages per week per recipient). Message and data rates may apply, depending on the recipient’s mobile plan. Recipients can reply HELP for help or STOP to opt out at any time. TruckSettle sends only operational settlement-report messages — no marketing messages are ever sent.

Mobile opt-in data and phone numbers will not be sold, rented, or shared with third parties for marketing or promotional purposes. Phone numbers and consent records collected for SMS / MMS report delivery are used solely to deliver the settlement PDFs you authorize and may be shared only with our service providers (e.g., our SMS / MMS gateway) as necessary to deliver those operational messages and operate TruckSettle.

4. How We Share Information

We share information only with the following categories of third parties, and only as needed to run the Service:

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share phone numbers, opt-in records, or messaging consent data with any third party for their own marketing.

5. Data Retention

We retain account, trip, and settlement data for as long as your account remains active and for a reasonable period afterwards to comply with tax, accounting, and legal obligations. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at the address below.

6. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards including TLS encryption in transit, encrypted password hashing, JWT-based authentication, strict per-user data isolation on the backend, and rate-limiting on authentication endpoints. No system is perfectly secure, but we work continuously to protect your data.

7. Children

TruckSettle is a business tool for adult drivers and operators. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13 (or 16 in the EEA/UK).

8. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address below.

9. Changes to this Policy

If we make material changes to this Policy we will update the "Last Updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you within the app.
